Creating your Outfit Portfolio

"What is an Outfit Portfolio" you may be asking.  This is a portfolio of all your clothing, shoe's and accessories put together that look good on you.  It's an easy way to get ready, and there is no stress on what to wear and what mix and matches with what.

Book a Sunday morning to go through that closet of your's and pull out all your clothing, shoes and accessesories. Mix and match items that go together and looks fab on, then accessories with your jewlery, shoe's and handbag etc...

Once you have that perfect outfit, take a photo of your items, download this to your computer, create and save to your folder "My Outfit Port".  Do this with all your clothing and you'll be surprised on how may outfits you can create, you'll also start wearing those pieces that have been sitting in the back of your closet for months, maybe years.

The changes in your life with just this simple task will be amasing.  There will be complements on how put together you look, money will be saved as you will have so many outfits to wear now, you won't need to buy, and you will be on time to places as a quick flick through your portfolio you'll know the perfect outfit you want to wear for that day.

If you don't have a computer, you can take photo's and create a book of your outfits.

Do this every second month to keep your profile up to date.

Tip's to find Bargains for Clothing & Shoes

Clothing & Shoe’s on a Budget
·        If you’ve got a girls night out, plan to meet and get ready at one place. Tell the girlfriends to bring unwanted clothing, shoe’s and accessories and have a swapsies over drinks.  It’s a great way to get everyone in the mood, and feeling good with their great swaps before they go out.
·        When ever looking for bargain’s at your favourite stores, head to the back of the store.  This is where they usually hold the last stock clothing sales.
·        Get up early on a Saturday morning and get to those garage sales.  They have the best bargains for a few cents.
Over the next couple of week's I will put together an imitation look of the star's, and how to get it. So keep an eye on this spot :)

Natural to Day Make-Up

Make-Up
In 2002 I took a course in Diploma in Make-Up Artistry which has given me the tools of looking good and getting that certain J.Lo or Kadashian’s look.
Here are some tips on achieving the Day look on just the $2 shop make up and Thin Lizzy.  But use what you have at home, otherwise jot down the ingredients and get down to your cheapy shop.
Day Look Ingredient:      Moisturizer
                                      Foundation (Closest to your colouring)
                                      Bronzing Powder
                                      Brown Eyeshadow
                                      Lipstick & Gloss

- Apply Moisturizer all over face, neck and ears.
- Apply Foundation on face neck and ears
- Brush bronzing powder on T-zone (forehead, nose, chin, neck  line and color bone.
- Apply a light brown pale colour eyeshadow to the entire eyelid.
- Apply a darker brown on the contour line of the eyelid. (This is the crease of your eyelid) Brush this on and blend
- Apply that same colour to lips
- Brush some more bronzing powder on cheekbones
- This is my favorite part. (The lip gloss) Dab on the lips for shine, put also on the eyebrows and eyelashes instead of using mascara (and it won’t run)

This can be done within 5 minutes, and is a great natural to day look.  Take a look at my before and after photo’s.  This show’s one of the basic look’s out there, and I will add on every other day another technique to get another look, on what you have at home and on a budget.

Keep an eye on my blog, I’m going to recreate the looks of the star’s and how to get it without paying a make-up artist, and using what you probably already have.
