Live a life thats affordable and get clever with what you have.

When I was younger I was so naïve when it came to money.  I spent what I did not have, HP this and HP that. The only wise choice was to buy my home, but I would soon realise that bills would accrual and I would need to change my lifestyle.  When I became a mother and a solo one at that, then the luxuries of nails, hair and make up being done was a thing of the past.  I love these things, what was I to doo.  Ahhh I got wise, I trained as a make-up artist, trained in Hair and Beauty, and when I had my boys, I trained as a Barber.  Yet I may have had to pay for these skills, but I don't need a hairdresser, makeup artist or a barber. I'm free and it was worth my dollars to train.  When we sold our home last year and moved to the North, I got wise with accommodation.  I didn't want to buy just yet, but I didn't want to rent something expensive, so we got cleaver.  We only need a one bedroom, so long as the kids have a room, and a fenced section to play outside, I myself can live like you would in a studio apartment.  It works, it saves so much on rent, we use the spare money on our weekends or save it for the holidays.  You don't have to settle in life, but you do need to make choices that are wise.  Don't buy into the "Buy now and pay later", live a life that is affordable to you, and get clever with what you have - Yourself :)

Make Up Kit Free Samples

I've just recently rejoined Avon as an Avon Rep and I tell you, it is the best way to get samples to stack up your Make Up Kit.  I am so out of pocket at the moment and can't afford to splash out on quality make-up or perfumes that I thought it would be a great idea to rejoin Avon to give me a few extra bucks and rebuild my moisturizers, make up and smelly's.  Although you have to buy most sample's for no more than $3.00 a pack of samples you still have the freebees.  I also collate the pages of the Avon Brochures that have the 'rub the page to experience the smell'.  I don't even need to use my own perfumes as I readily have the page sample.  I rub this on my wrist and the smell last's on me for most of the day.  I have a whole bag filled of these.  (I know, stingy but Hey, when you live off next to nothing you get creative).  My make-up kit is also stacked with miniature lipsticks, moisturizers, shampoo's, liquid foundation's and MUCH more that I have purchased for no more than $3 each pack of 5-10 samples.

Avon is a great way of making some extra cash and stocking up.  I also believe in there products and think they have a great brand.  If your low on a budget like me, then I highly recommend AVON.

Girls Pamper Night Out

I'm organizing a girls pamper night in a couple of weeks. Every single person that is coming over has to bring one item of clothing they don't wear anymore and an accessory (shoe's, jewelry, bag's etc) that can be swapped with someone else that night.  I will be setting all items out for viewing and as we have hair, make up and nails done, we can ponder through and pick out something we want to keep. Such a cheap way of getting new things without paying a cent.  We don't even have to pay for the "Glamming Up" as we do it all ourselves. (Hint: Search Youtube for handy tip's on Make Up and Hair Up's)

Ingredients for Girls Pamper Night Out:
- A piece of clothing to swap.
- An accessory
- A bottle of Wine each person to bring
- Make Up
- Nail Polish and Nail Kit
- Hair Products
- The Girls (Most important)

Wala,  that's all you need, to have a good Pamper Night out.  Once you and your besties are all dolled up, then it's a night on the Town.  OooLaLa

Have a Great Night if you try this yourself, I know we will be :)

Retail Home Excercise

One main tip on a low budget is to keep your home looking like you just entered a retail store, yes it's alot of work to maintain, especially with young children (even teenagers), but it's known fact that housework is a good and free workout. So de-clutter your home, show off your nice ornament's and believe me you will get a rush, not only from the workout, but how awesome your home looks, AND, you didn't have to spend a cent.
